St. Hudeffsky

Finn was immeasureably relieved as he made his way back to Jesse’s from his house, a glass making dish on the passenger seat that smelled ridiculously good, and feeling much better than he had on the way TO their house. It was already darkening by the time he’d left, and fully evening by the time he pulled into the driveway. The idea to invite Dave and Jeff over was spur of the moment, but exciting. He wanted the boys around a lot lately, drawing a lot of comfort from the fact that Jesse seemed to enjoy their company too, and wanting all bonds as strong as possible. He felt like it was direly important in the coming months. And it was nice that Jesse had people to talk to now, too.

He grabbed the casserole dish from the seat and headed inside, kicking off his shoes and hanging up his jacket once inside, shivering a little as the warm air heated his cold skin, “I’m home!” He called, rather happily than he thought he’d be this evening, making his way to the kitchen and setting the dish on the stove before making his way back to the living room, “And I brought food! And I got ahold of the boys and told them to come play with us! … I guess we should wait down here for them before we drag them into our bed.” He mused thoughtfully, excited.
